What PlanifAI is
PlanifAI is software for planning and forecasting operations. It turns the resources, tasks and rules of an operation into plans that can be executed. It proposes alternatives, the planner decides and, when something changes, it redoes only what is needed.
It is used for four families of problems:

| Shifts and absence cover | Who covers each shift and how an absence is resolved |
| Demand forecasting | How much of each item will be used until the next delivery, with what reorder point and safety stock |
